COMMUNITY RESOURCES
We love and support our neighbors every week.
At Christ UMC, we consider our church to be a sanctuary for all. If you need support of any kind--whether it's a safe space to share or some non-perishable food items--we're here to help. Learn more about our resources below or contact the church office for more information.
Food Pantry
If you or your family could use a bit of extra help making ends meet, stop by our church once a month to our food pantry. Clients may only visit once per month, but have the option of which day to attend.
We provide non-perishable and canned goods, birthday cake packages, and a limited supply of frozen meat, health foods, supplements, and baby/adult diapers. See a volunteer about those items upon your arrival.
Bi-Monthly Distribution Days:
-
First Thursday of each month: 5:30-6:30 p.m.
-
Third Wednesday of each month: 10:00 a.m. - Noon
Note: In the event of inclement weather or holidays, please contact the church office at office@christumcknox.com.
Additional Benevolence
We are dedicated to help those in need each week. To receive assistance through our benevolence ministries, we have KARM gifts cards available and, during the late fall, coat vouchers. Stop by our church on Wednesdays from 9am-3pm to learn more. These vouchers are only available while they last, so it is important to call before coming by if you can to make sure we have them in stock.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Each week we are the home of one AA group that meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Library. Contact the church office at office@christumcknox.com for further details.
