CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We plant seeds of faith for the youngest members of our church.
It is our mission to provide a safe and nurturing space for the children of our church to experience God's abundant love and grace. Our children's ministry team is dedicated to offering a fun-filled and Christ-focused ministry that enables our kids to grow in their understanding of the bible and God's unending love for them. Childcare
We provide childcare for all kids from infants to pre-K on Sunday mornings during worship and on Wednesday nights.
Sunday School
Kids learn in different ways, and we get that. Our curriculum promotes biblical truths learned in inspiring atmospheres. Each week our children get a chance to learn more about loving God and their neighbors through storytelling, art, and sharing treats!
Children's Church
Each Sunday during worship, we offer a Children's Moment as a time for kids to gather with the pastor at the front of the sanctuary to receive a kid-sized version of the day's message. Following the lesson, children up to second grade are invited to participate in Children's Church, where they are led in a Bible lesson in the children's wing of our church campus.
Breakdown of Sunday mornings for Kids:
Birth-age 3 - Nursery/Toddler Room 10am (9am & 11am available if needed, please let Marcie know)
PreK-5th grade - upstairs in Christ's Kids wing
9am - Mission Projects
10am - Children's Church
11am - Sunday School
Wednesday Nights
Every Wednesday night starting at 6:30pm, all children are invited to participate in fun, educational programming that helps them learn core values of the Christian faith. Our little explorers learn more about God's word and ways that we can share God's love with our neighbors every day. All are welcome to join us each Wednesday night during the school year.
Breakdown of Wednesday Programming for Kids:
Birth-age 3 - Nursery/Toddler Room 6:00pm - 7:30pm
PreK-8th grade - Voices of Christ 6:30pm-7:10pm
PreK-5th grade - Mission Projects 6:30pm-8:30pm
Voices of Christ
Do you have a little songbird in your life? Come to Voices of Christ!
Children in PreK-8th grade are invited to join us for a time to wiggle, stomp, clap, and sing out praises to the Lord. We believe that every child's voice is beautiful and should be celebrated. The Voices of Christ children's choir is led by Sarah Holloway (see Staff section for contact info).
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, usually the 3rd week of June, we offer the children in our community a week of fun Bible learning! We provide fun crafts and activities to help our little ones learn more about God's love and grace. Dinner is provided each night, and our volunteers lead us through interactive centers of learning and fun.
